                        To What Degree

All to a degree is a reflection of who we are,
and to a degree of who we are, is a reflection of all.

       To the degree we love and care for another,
        we love ourselves.

        To the degree we hate another,
        we hate ourselves.

        To the degree we understand another,
        we understand ourselves.

        To the degree we forgive another,
        we forgive ourselves.

Coming to terms with the above was always an ongoing
process for me; sometimes succeeding, sometimes failing.
Learning equally from both, for we can't have one without
the other.
