Blue Butterfly

                        In The Park

In the park...
The flowers come to bloom...
The waves tumbled onto the beach
The birds took flight...
And a squirrel ran up a tree.

This I saw.. and much more.

The children laughed and played.
People met and talked.

The sky was blue and the sun was warm.

She came before me...
And for a brief moment our eyes met.
And she passed on by.

An hour later...
She passed on by again... stopped
And asked me for directions.

An hour later...
I gave her this poem.
And a tear came to her eye,
Which brought one to mine.

And I saw, that she too - bloomed.
