A Trying Moment
In any given moment...
A friendship is either falling, staying, or rising.
A great friendship - too...
Is the result of right thinking and well-directed effort.
And not a thing of chance.
And you may ask...
So what has this to do - with you and I.
And I reply... my friend
Do you not see the sadness in my eyes.
And the rain fell and the the sun shone through.
And we too, will work what need's to be - through.
Our friendship... tried, tested, and true.
Rain or shine, I stand by you.
Sometimes, my friend - even up to you.
